Skills Test
Does Petaccio's Driving School offer the Skills Test to everyone?
Petaccio's Driving School is certified to administer the Driving Skills Test to anyone with a valid PA driving permit.
Students under 18 must hold their permit for six (6) months before taking the test.
We offer several packages on our SERVICES page that will greatly assist a successful Skills Test.
Is Petaccio's Driving School certified by PennDOT to perform the driving skills assessment (Driving Test) in order to complete my license?
Petaccio's Driving School is certified to administer the driving skills test.
Upon successful completion of the test, Petaccio's Driving School will stamp the student's permit. At this point it is a valid temporary driving license for 120 days.
You will receive a camera card in the mail and will need to go to the DMV to have your picture taken.

Does Petaccio's Driving School offer lessons on the weekends and after school hours?
Yes. Appointments are available 7 days a week.
Does Petaccio's Driving School do door-to-door service or will I need to bring my child to your office?
Petaccio's Driving School does offer door-to-door service within our service area. We may recommend meeting at a particular location if it would benefit the student.
General Information
Does Petaccio's Driving School offer 30 hour theory driver's education classes?
Yes. Petaccio's driving school offers an online driving theory training program. You will find the link to register for it on our website "SERVICES" page.
Will I receive a discount on my child's car insurance rates by completing your driver education program?
Petaccio's Driving School is a state certified driving school via the Pennsylvania Department of Education, therefore our BTW6(6 hours) program meets the requirements for an insurance discount. You will receive a certificate of completion when your program is completed. You must contact your insurance carrier to determine if your insurance company offers a driver's education discount.
Is Petaccio's Driving School a member of any professional organizations?
Yes Petaccio's Driving School is a member of the Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce, the Pennsylvania Association of Professional Driving Schools (PAPDS), in which Bill has been and serves as the treasurer of this statewide association, and the Driving School Association of the Americas (DSAA).
